The 2010 Texas Radio Hall of Fame Inductees have been named!

After what was the largest turnout of voters in the nine year history of the Texas Radio Hall of Fame, the 2010 inductees have been chosen by ballot through the support of its voting members, which includes previous inductees and instatees.

The saying, "Your vote and every vote counts" was never truer than this year.  A handful of nominees missed being inducted by 1, 2 or 3 votes. So, if your nominee is not on the inductee's list below, nominate them again in 2011, be certain that you vote and encourage your media friends and associates to vote, too.

The inductees will be honored at the annual induction celebration which will be held in late October or early November in the Houston area because the largest number of this year's 2010 inductees worked in radio or currently reside in the Bayou City area.  The location of the induction event in the Houston area will be announced soon as well as information on how to purchase tickets for the event.

Percentages of votes from each city or region:
37%  Houston
29% Dallas-Fort Worth
18% San Antonio-Austin
18% Out of state and out of country

More details are and will be available online at www.texasradiohalloffame.com or www.trhof.com
