each call, subject, each hour and day.

Wrote a three-minute reflection, or
feature, for each weekday morning for 20 years on radio. An
intricate record keeper, Alvin saved copies of each feature.

His television work included KTRK-TV
Channel 13, with the “Alvin at Night” segment covering fund
raising and special evening events for 10 years.

Attended University of Houston and
received Bachelors Degrees in English, Communications and
Geography; and a Master of Fine Arts Degree from Houston Baptist
University.

Married for 23 years to Barbara. Daughters
Phyllis and Margo, sons Zachary and Griffin.
