1981 - 1990: |
Chairman
of the Board, President, and CEO of Satellite Music
Network, Inc. (SMN), the #1 full-time satellite radio
network in the world, with over 1,000 domestic and
international affiliates.
Successfully built SMN from a start-up to a public
company. Sold the
company for over $55 million to CapCities/ABC.

1977 - 1981: |
Formed
and served as president of Sun Broadcasting Company for
the purchase of KATT-AM/FM in Oklahoma City, OK. |

1979 |
Formed
Satellite Radio Network (SRN), a Christian-based radio
network, and served as Co-Chairman of the Board of
Directors. |

1971 - 1974: |
General
Manager of ABC Television affiliate WQXI-TV (now WXIA-TV),
Atlanta GA. After six months, promoted to President and
Chief Executive Officer of the parent corporation,
Pacific and Southern Broadcasting Company, Inc.
Operating responsibilities for WQXI-TV, WQXI-AM and WQXI-FM
in Atlanta; WWDJ-FM in Hackensack NJ; WSAI-AM/FM in
Cincinnati; KIMN-AM in Denver; and KKDJ in Los Angeles.

Managing
Partner of KFWD-FM (now KTXQ-FM) in Fort Worth/Dallas,
TX |

1968 - 1971: |
Established a partnership, purchased, and served as
managing partner for the ABC Television Affiliate KVII-TV
in Amarillo, TX. Made it the #1 ABC station in the USA
by percentage of population. |

1964 - 1967: |
Initiated a new enterprise to acquire franchises and
construct and operate cable television systems. |
He's the winner
of the INC. 100 award (1987) for having one of the 100
fastest growing companies in the USA.
A nominee, Ernst
& Young Entrepreneur of the Year award (1990), Dallas.
Mr. Tyler is a
member of the National Association of Broadcasters, Broadcast
Pioneers, and the National Association of Television Program
